Reply:Why does it have to be homemade? I will tell you that you can go to a cake supply store and buy it there is cream cheese, strawberry, raspberry, etc. or you can just put the coconut pecan flavor of betty crocker frosting in the middle. Why make it harder than it has to be? That's what they teach you in cake classes and no one would know that it, isn't homemeade unless you use the frosting.
Reply:Butter cream defintely!!! You just add in different flavoured essences. Take about a pound of butter and a couple of pounds of icing/ confectioners sugar and a little container of milk and a few drops of whtever type of essence you want to use to flavour the cream. ( ok I'm a cook not a chef I can't really give exact amounts). You cream the butter like if you were making a cake and add the icing sugar a little at a time, if the mixture gets too stiff just add a splash of milk and it'll loosen up. The consistency should be like a stiff frosting. You add in the drops of essence as you go along. If you want to make chocolate butter cream add some cocoa powder along with the icing sugar. Try essences like almond, vanilla, coffee, maybe some liquor and my favourite, rose water!!!
Reply:Mix a bit of whipped cream with heavy cream and either chocolate powder or else a bit of chocolate liqueur, like Godiva. Otherwise, caramel ice-cream sauce, mint fudge sauce, etc.
My favorite is mixing 1 cup of orange juice, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 bag of frozen raspberries (or any berry) and mixing it over a low to medium heat until you get a fresh, homemade syrup.
You can always use mini-candy bars or things like heath candy bits or mini chocolate chips. The possibilities are infinite.
Reply:Just use a box of instant pudding (they have so many flavors to pick from and very easy to put together
Reply:You could try an instant pudding, probably chocolate. I've made a chocolate cake with chocolate pudding inside myself, it's very yummy.
Reply:You can take coolwhip, a little milk, vanilla instant pudding and crushed oreo cookies. It makes it look like an oreo cookie with a glaze that I make with cool whip %26amp; 2 squares of bakers chocolate put in the microwave for a minute...it works great instead of frosting. Also, you can take the coolwhip, vanilla or chocolate pudding, and some creamy peanut butter. Really, you can make any flavor of filling by mixing coolwhip, milk and any flavor of instant pudding.
Reply:See if these can be of help for you:
