How many fillings do you have?

I just found out that I need quite a few fillings (five!) and I feel really bad about it. How many fillings does anyone else have and how do you feel about them? Do they bother you?

Reply:i have 2, they dont bother me and i dont bother them, all I do is brush twice a day ;-)

Reply:i have two, and i never think about it because i got them filled with white stuff instead of silver....
Reply:Apart from 4 front teeth at the top and 4 front teeth at the bottom, all my teeth are filled. I also have a 3 tooth bridge and 2 crowns. i don't worry, at least i appear to have a full set of teeth and none of them come out at night, ha,ha..

Reply:Like 8 or 9. And I probably need 2 root canals. I hate my teeth.They are really soft, no matter what I do, I get cavities.
Reply:Just the one. But its the same colour as my teeth. So you can't see it =D
Reply:i dont have any. but its because my dentist fills in the grooves of my teeth, they are called sealants, before i have the chance to get any cavities.

Reply:I dont have any fillings.... yet. I think some people also have stronger teeth than others.. because there are definately some times that I forget to brush, but then some people who brush everyday get lots of fillings.

Reply:I haven't got any so far but the last time I went to the dentist, he said that I've got a bit of caries that I should have checked every 6 months. That's about 3 months ago. Now my tooth has began to ache a bit every now and again. My biggest problem at the moment is that I have to have all 4 wisdom teeth taken out... I've just been put on a waiting list a month ago.

Reply:I've had 7. I go back next month to get another, but it's a previous filling that was not done right. Mine have never really bothered me and most of the time I don't even think about them being there.
Reply:I have none, but you shouldn't feel so bad. My sister got a lot of fillings after Halloween! lol I don't think fillings bother people, but they can fall out.
