My dental fillings got removed accidentally, what should I do?

My dental fillings got removed accidentally and I don't know if we can afford it at the moment (we just migrated to New Zealand). It had decay before the dentist cleaned it up end placed some fillings but now its gone. I'm not sure if the decay will continue and if ever my tooth rots, its gonna hard to smile...

You should go to the dentist as soon as possible to have the crown replaced. It will start to decay and you don't want the decay to get into the nerve of the tooth because it will cause the nerve to get infected and cause you alot of pain. Then you will have to have a root canal done to keep the tooth or you would need to have it extracted. It is going to be alot cheaper for you to have the filling replaced than to have the root canal or extraction done.
Reply:I am not a dentist but I was trained by a very educated dentist that I owe my career to. Everything that I know is because of him! Thanks for picking my answer!!! Kelli Report It

Reply:hey GO to the dentist and filled it up soon.
Reply:check into lost cost dentists in the area, the longer you go without getting it fixed, the more sensitive it will get. also because the filling is gone, your tooth is more susceptible to decay.
Reply:Try every dentist you can. Trust me, it ain't worth it to mess with your teeth.
