Looking after teeth with fillings?

I'm getting fillings in a few teeth soon and I was just wondering if there's anything different you should do to look after teeth with fillings in them? And is there anything that I shouldn't eat once I've got the fillings done or anything like that?

Looking after teeth with fillings?
No, normally no difference from normal brushing, flossing and mouthwash. Both cream and metal colour fillings are quite robust.

It is always good to ensure you brush teeth thoroughly and use small brushes or floss to keep your gums healthy.

You may find over many years that the slightly weakened tooth will lead to the tooth or filling to crumble and loosen, but this is easily remedied by the Dentist with a new filling or crown etc.
Reply:just keep brushin n flossin
Reply:I would get white fillings myself-they are thought by many these days to be healthier than mercury amalgum fillings.
Reply:They may be slightly sensitive to cold for a few weeks but that's about it.
