Fillings on tooth??

I had my tooth filled a few years ago but its been a week now and I have this pain when I eat or drink something and I also noticed a white spot on my tooth could the fillings be broken??

Fillings on tooth??
It could have a filling.

Most cavities start out as a white spot.... but usually inbetween teeth not on the front surface.

Pain can come from root exposure secondary to gum recession. Don't brush too hard around the gums!

Reply:the filling is broken and you should get ikt refilled or the tooth removed
Reply:yes you need to go to the dentist it could be infected or not filled completely
Reply:Sounds like you have broken the filling and maybe have an infection in the root of the tooth. You need to get to the dentist asap before you lose the tooth or the infection gets worse and spreads thru your body. If it is an infection they will want to get rid of the infection first, go back and have a root canal, and a crown put on.
