okay 1st question is...Is it normal for a dentist to align your teeth after you've gotten 2 fillings in the same area?
and 2nd is....since my dentist filled 2 cavities and aligned my teeth, should i get the other side done?

Yes this is very normal, yes get the other side done.
Reply:Its perfectly normal. All he is doing is making sure that you dont hit hard on the filling when you bite down. If you bite down on the filling it could chip your filling or worse give you a toothache sensation. You dont need it on the other side. This is a step in the procedure.
