How much are fillings on average?

i dont have insurance and the fillings i plan to get are white. on average how much do they usually run?

Amalgam (silver fillings) can range from $90-175 depending on how many surfaces of the tooth have decay on them. Composite (tooth colored fillings) can range from $105-200 also depending on how many surfaces of the tooth have decay on them. Amalgam is not very good for the body...I recommend composite!!
Reply:if you dont have insurance amalgam(silver is cheaper) and last alot longer...if they are close to the front or you can see them when you smile you need white fillings..but it is more costly. cost depends on how many areas of the tooth need to be filled, the areas are front,back,sides(front and back of tooth),and flat area(occlusal) all dentist prices are different
