I don't have dental insurance and I'm disabled and can not work. I went to a dentist for a free cleaning and they said that one of my fillings was cracked and I need to have one placed on the tooth next to it. I let them do it for free but now I have pain in my teeth (not the ones that were worked on) and in my lower jaw and increased sensitivity. I can't go back to the dentist because they said I would get no follow up care. It was done almost 2 weeks ago. The pain is so bad that it keeps me up at night even with toothache ointment and Advil. What should I do? Any idea how to stop the pain or will it go away by itself?
Toothache after Fillings?
That happened to me a couple months ago and they said I needed a root canal. Those are pretty pricey so you might be able to get the tooth pulled for cheaper.
Reply:they must have exposed the pulp while cleaning %26amp; placed the filling. Need a RCT or its going swell up. Try to go back to the dentist %26amp; request them to check up.
