LOL.
Maybe if the baby is your dentists baby you could use that as bribery!!! Or if you go to a dentist who would trade your baby for some fillings.
You can replace your white fillings if you wanted to.
I think that unless you are really worried about how they look that if the fillings are good then leave them alone. If it aint broke don't fix it. Sometimes replacing fillings can weaken the tooth, or require larger fillings. White fillings tend to require higher maintenance.
I guess if you're talking about at a free clinic then generally no unless your filling has a problem. doing cosmetic stuff makes waiting lists go boom.
Can I replace my dark fillings for white and get them free since Ive just have a baby?
Nope, you pay for anything that's cosmetic and not clinical....
Reply:Go %26amp; ask the dentist,Goodluck
Reply:Your kidding right?
Reply:Nope. There's not enough medical proof of a danger for having the existing mercury based fillings, that any insurance company will cover the switch as anything other than cosmetic.
Reply:If your dentist is willing to take the baby in trade . . .
Reply:yes but you have to pay!
Reply:I don't think having a baby will give you the right to get FREE fillings or MUCH of anything FREE. LOL
Reply:Not a chance. Free dental work does not cover unnecessary cosmetic treatment.
Reply:What?! Your fillings don't affect your baby's health! You probably couldn't even get insurance to cover that because it isn't necessary. Try getting free diapers or something you actually need.
Reply:No. Why did you think you could?
Reply:Why would you think a dentist would donate his work to you just because you had a baby? He has to make a living, too... in fact he probably has his own babies at home to support.
Reply:Your treatment should be free if you have your exemption ticket - mine was. Although I don't know if they will replace pre-existing fillings just for cosmetic reasons.
Try chewing on a toffee!!!!!!
Reply:No.
Reply:No!
Reply:Did you mean to post this question here or in the "Entertainment%26gt;Jokes-Riddles" section?
Reply:Not unless theres something wrong with them. You do get free dental treatment when pregnant with the NHS, but the NHS doesn't cover white fillings. I think the answer would be no. You could visit your dentist and ask though. He/she may be in a good mood! Good luck
