Front teeth cavity?

Ok, here's the scoop. I'm terrified! I've been going to the dentist lately. Had a deep cleaning. Then he started on the fillings. The first appointment with that, he worked on 2 teeth. After he was done, he said that one was going to need a root canal and crown and he just put a sedative feeling in it. The other was fine. I've not yet gotten the root canal and crown as I wanted him to go ahead and fix the front teeth that needs fixing (cavities behind them from cement being left in my mouth from braces). I don't have insurance and this has eaten the heck out of my pocket. The first appointment left me sore as everything and my cheek was swollen for 2 days and still has a huge bruise left. I'm scared to bits and pieces to have this thing done on Monday. I have no idea how bad it will be being on my front teeth. It's the four top ones, so this will really affect my smile if it's screwed up. I've rarely had cavities til now! Help! How bad is this gonna be?

Front teeth cavity?
the top teeth will be anesthetized individually. the bottom teeth will be anesthetized by a shot in the back of the mouth (the same place that they give the shot for lower back teeth) Half your lower jaw and tongue will get numb. It's hard to say if one hurts more than the other, but neither one should be too bad. Good Luck!

(P.S.) I'm here for you girlie!
