Swallowed a white tooth filling, probably fine but triple checking.?

Hey all, Yeah I'm pretty sure I swallowed it, I read up alot about swallowing fillings on here but.. thought I'd run through this by you all just to see ifthis makes a difference. It's a white filling, BIG, HUGE, about half the size of a front tooth. I got some pretty bad decay going on and I'm getting it all fixed, my next appointment though is a months from now and I just got these new fillings in i think 2 days ago frig. She called it a temporary filling, said something about possible doing root canals in that tooth or the one beside it or both... so here's the twist.. I'm cronically constipated, suckin on a ton of prune juice lately and I normally only go #2 once a week and things aren't moving very well but I'm doin my best.. would this filling F me up more or what? lol Any kinda dangers here at all? I'm gonna call my dentist tomorrow but just dunno if this thing lingering in my body is gonna make things worse or should I just suck more prune juice than usual and call the doc

No harm in accidentally swallowing a filling. You're gonna poop it out. Drinking all that prune juice will probably make you go to the bathroom one too many times and cause a rash.
Reply:dont worry..usually,if u swallow some foreign body it will naturally comes out from gastrointestinal system.as the filling is not harmfl at all,so dont worry that much.ok?
Reply:Do not even think about what you have swallowed, think about the cavity in the mouth left due to fallen filling and get it replaced fast by a good dentist so that it does not fall again. Also good oral hygiene keeps acid levels in mouth low and fillings are less likely to fall.
